About The Comedy Theatre The Comedy Theatre is Indias largest comedy club chain, operating five venues across the country. We regularly work with some of India’s leading comedians, including Anubhav Singh Bassi, Gaurav Gupta, Gaurav Kapoor, Jaspreet Singh and many more.

We are looking for an energetic and organised Artist & Tour Manager who can manage artists professionally and take complete ownership of their shows and tours.

About the Role The Artist & Tour Manager will act as the main point of contact between the artist, venues, promoters, production teams and internal departments.

The role involves managing everything from show planning and travel arrangements to venue coordination, hospitality, settlements and tour execution. The ideal candidate should be comfortable travelling frequently and handling the fast-paced nature of the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

Artist Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned artists
- Manage the artist’s show calendar, meetings, rehearsals and professional commitments
- Coordinate with venues, event organisers, promoters and corporate clients
- Share accurate show information with the artist and relevant teams
- Manage artist requirements, hospitality and green room arrangements
- Maintain skilled relationships with artists, managers and industry partners
- Protect the artist’s professional image and ensure commitments are delivered properly
- Identify new performance, corporate-event and brand-collaboration opportunities





Tour Management
- Plan and manage complete city-wise and multi-city tours
- Prepare detailed tour schedules and show itineraries
- Book and coordinate flights, trains, hotels and local transportation
- Ensure the artist reaches every venue on time
- Coordinate with local venues regarding sound checks, technical requirements and show timings
- Confirm stage, sound, lighting, seating and backstage arrangements
- Travel with the artist whenever required
- Handle last-minute changes, delays and emergencies professionally
- Ensure a smooth experience for the artist throughout the tour

Show Execution
- Coordinate with the venue and production teams before every show
- Ensure all technical and hospitality requirements are completed
- Manage artist arrival, sound check, green room and stage movement
- Monitor audience entry and show readiness
- Ensure shows begin and end according to schedule
- Prevent unauthorised recording of comedy performances
- Resolve artist, venue or audience-related concerns during the event
- Share post-show updates with the management team

Commercials and Reporting
- Track show commercials, expenses, settlements and pending payments




- Coordinate with the finance team for invoices and artist payments
- Maintain records of travel costs, hotel expenses and tour budgets
- Prepare show-wise and tour-wise profit and loss reports
- Negotiate with venues, vendors and travel partners when required
- Maintain accurate records of all bookings and commitments

Who We Are Looking For
- Someone passionate about comedy, entertainment and artist management
- Strong communication, coordination and negotiation skills
- Excellent planning and time-management abilities
- Comfortable working under pressure and solving problems quickly
- Willing to travel frequently and work during evenings and weekends
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle artists professionally
- Comfortable managing multiple shows, cities and stakeholders simultaneously
- Previous experience in artist management, events, touring, hospitality or live entertainment will be an advantage
- A personal laptop and willingness to remain available during active tours will be preferred
