About the Role

Scalabox Technologies is looking for a motivated AI Developer Intern who is interested in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and real-world software development.

As an AI Developer Intern, you will work closely with the development team to explore AI technologies, build prototypes, integrate AI capabilities into applications, and contribute to real-world company projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and testing AI/ML-based applications and prototypes.
- Work with Python and commonly used AI/ML libraries.
- Perform data collection, preprocessing, cleaning, and analysis.
- Develop and evaluate basic Machine Learning models.
- Explore and integrate Generative AI, LLMs, and AI APIs into applications.
- Build AI-powered features such as chatbots, automation tools, recommendation systems, and intelligent data-processing solutions.
- Integrate AI models with REST APIs and web applications.
- Collaborate with developers and UI/UX teams to implement AI-driven features.
- Test, debug, and improve AI solutions based on project requirements.
- Research current AI tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Prepare technical documentation and project reports.
- Participate in team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and innovation activities.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Python programming.
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning fundamentals.
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and basic programming concepts.
- Basic knowledge of NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
- Understanding of SQL and databases.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn new AI technologies.

Good to Have




- Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with OpenAI or other AI APIs.
- Basic knowledge of LangChain, RAG, vector databases, or embeddings.
- Familiarity with Flask or FastAPI.
- Basic knowledge of React.js or JavaScript.
- Understanding of cloud platforms or AI deployment.
- Experience building academic or personal AI/ML projects.
