Role Description The Article Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru. Day-to-day responsibilities typically include assisting with statutory and internal audits, supporting the preparation and review of financial statements, and helping with accounting and bookkeeping tasks. Trainees may be involved in tax compliance work, including preparation of returns, working papers, and basic documentation for direct and indirect taxes.

The role also includes performing analytical procedures, compiling schedules, maintaining client files, and ensuring proper documentation for assignments.



Article trainees are expected to follow professional standards, adhere to timelines, coordinate with senior team members, and actively participate in learning and training sessions to develop technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in basic tax concepts, including direct and indirect taxation, and an interest in learning regulatory compliance.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic accounting software, with the ability to handle numerical data accurately.
- Candidates should possess good written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
