- Create 2D cutting vectors, 2.5D panel carvings, and detailed 3D relief models from concept sketches/drawings.
- Generate, simulate, and export production-ready G-code/toolpaths for 3-axis flatbed CNC routers.
- Coordinate directly with machine operators to optimize cutting speeds, reduce tool wear, and minimize finishing labor.
- Maintain a clean, organized digital library of reusable design assets and cutting files.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in ArtCAM / Carveco within a woodworking, door, or furniture manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC router bits, feed rates, multi-tool setups, and material behavior.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work to exact millimeter tolerances.
