Job Summary The Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying business opportunities, conducting technical product demonstrations, recommending optimal welding and joining processes, and closing sales for wear-plates, specialized consumables, and wear-resistant hardfacing/reclamation solutions across target industries (e.g., cement, steel, mining, power, and other process industres).

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development & Account Management
- Generate leads, map target accounts, and develop business across key manufacturing, maintenance, and fabrication sectors.
- Manage direct customer accounts (maintenance heads, welding supervisors, purchase departments) and support dealer/distributor networks within the assigned territory.




- Conduct plant audits to identify wear and tear issues, proposing hardfacing, cladding, or maintenance welding solutions to extend component life.

2. Market Intelligence & Feedback
- Track competitor products, pricing, and market share trends.
- Gather on-ground customer feedback and collaborate with product development/R&D; teams to introduce new grades, flux-cored wires, or welding products.

Education

B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Production Engineering.

Experience

2–6 years of techno-commercial sales experience wear-plate /hardfacing solutions ,welding consumables.

Technical Knowledge

Knowledge of Welding application / Wear plates is must.Application knowledge in Cement , Mining, Steel and process industries.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
