SCAI – Studio of Contemporary Architecture & Interior Design is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Architect to join our design team in Kolkata.

At SCAI, we work across Architecture, Interior Design and Spatial Design , creating thoughtful, contemporary spaces that balance functionality, materiality and aesthetics.x THE ROLE

As an Architect at SCAI, you will be involved in both architectural and interior design projects , taking projects from concept to execution.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing architectural and interior design concepts

• Preparing design presentations, drawings and working drawings

• Space planning, detailing and material selection

• Developing furniture, lighting and interior details

• Preparing BOQs, specifications and documentation

• Coordinating with consultants, vendors and contractors

• Conducting site visits and monitoring execution

• Ensuring design intent and quality are maintained throughout the project

• Contributing creatively to the studio’s design language and ongoing projectsx

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- B.Arch / equivalent qualification
- 1–4 years of relevant professional experience





• Strong understanding of architecture and interior design

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite

• Knowledge of 3D visualization/rendering software will be an advantage

• Positive understanding of materials, finishes and construction detailing

• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Willingness to learn, experiment and take ownership of workx
