Role: Java Backend Architect

Experience: 9-12yrs

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

Work with SQL databases for schema design, query optimizatiaon, stored procedures, and data integration.

Develop solutions using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, or similar technologies.

Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps teams, QA, and business stakeholders.

Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.

Implement security, logging, monitoring, and CI/CD best practices.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Java (8/11/17+)

Solid experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security





Experience in building Microservices Architecture

Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server

Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, DynamoDB, etc.

Valuable understanding of multithreading, collections, JVM tuning, and performance optimization

Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle

Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI

Understanding of containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes is preferred

Optional / Nice to Have

Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, MapReduce)

Exposure to Distributed Computing Systems

Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures

Cloud experience on AWS / Azure / GCP

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
