Job Summary

You will join our Datacenter Construction Support Team in Visakhapatnam, providing architectural coordination and site support for the construction of a large-scale data center. You will work closely with the design team, contractors, and in office engineers to ensure faithful execution of architectural intent, compliance with approvals, and high-quality finish delivery.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

- Provide on-site architectural support for construction activities, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout execution.

- Review and interpret architectural GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, finishes schedules, and specifications.

- Coordinate with civil, structural, and MEP teams to resolve architectural interface issues.

- Review shop drawings and sample submissions from contractors and vendors for architectural elements.

- Monitor quality of architectural finishes - flooring, false ceilings, faade, internal partitions, doors, and glazing.

- Prepare and review RFIs, NCRs, and site instructions related to architectural scope.

- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare architectural snag/punch lists.

- Assist with preparation of as-built drawings and project handover documentation.

- Coordinate statutory compliance checks related to fire safety, accessibility, and building codes (NBC/RERA).

- Liaise with local authority representatives for inspections, approvals, and completion certificates.

Mandatory Skills





- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing review, markups, and field sketches.

- Sound knowledge of NBC (National Building Code) and local bye-laws applicable in Andhra Pradesh.

- Experience in site execution of architectural finishes and coordination with contractors.

- Ability to interpret and cross-reference architectural and MEP drawings for coordination.

Advantageous Skills

- Exposure to Revit or BIM-based design coordination.

- Prior experience in data center, IT park, or industrial facility construction.

- Knowledge of green building standards (LEED / IGBC).

Soft Skills

- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for quality of finish.

- Good communication skills in English; Telugu language proficiency a plus.

- Collaborative mindset with the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines.

- Ability to manage multiple contractors and inspection activities simultaneously.

Qualifications

- Qualification: B.Arch from a recognized institution. Council of Architecture (COA) registration mandatory.

- Experience: 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in architectural construction support with data center experience is prefered.

- Experience in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facility construction preferred.

- Local candidates from Visakhapatnam / Andhra Pradesh strongly preferred.
