Role Description The AR Caller role is a full time, on-site position based in Madurai. The AR Caller will be responsible for contacting insurance companies and patients to follow up on outstanding claims and balances, resolving denials, and clarifying discrepancies in medical billing and payment status.

Daily tasks include reviewing patient accounts, verifying coverage, documenting interactions in the system, and updating claim status in accordance with company and client guidelines. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams, maintaining compliance with relevant policies, and meeting established productivity and quality targets.



The AR Caller is expected to maintain a professional and empathetic approach during calls while ensuring accurate and timely resolution of accounts.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional telephone etiquette.
- Candidates should possess skills in medical billing and AR follow-up, including understanding of insurance processes, claims status, denials, and reimbursement procedures.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret account information, identify issues, and propose appropriate resolutions.
- Candidates should possess documentation and data entry skills, including accurate recording of call details, updates to patient accounts, and use of relevant software tools.
- Candidates should possess time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads, meet targets, and handle multiple accounts efficiently.
- Relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, AR calling, or medical billing is preferred.
- A minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in commerce, finance, or healthcare administration is an advantage.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and familiarity with billing or practice management systems will be beneficial.
