We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join our café kitchen team. The Apprentice Chef will work closely under the guidance and supervision of the Head Chef, assisting with daily kitchen operations while learning professional cooking techniques and food preparation.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with daily food preparation and cooking.
- Help with chopping, cutting, portioning, marinating and other kitchen preparations.
- Follow recipes, cooking instructions and food presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
- Assist in maintaining proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours and service.
- Ensure ingredients and kitchen supplies are properly organized.
- Follow food safety and workplace safety guidelines.
- Learn and improve cooking techniques under the supervision of the Head Chef.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge or interest in cooking.
- Previous experience in a kitchen is preferred but freshers with a genuine interest in cooking are welcome to apply.
- Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of the Head Chef.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Good hygiene and a responsible attitude.
- Punctual, disciplined and hardworking.
