Prospect with Nandan Petrochem Ltd. a Nandan Group Company for oils, lubricants and greases business as a Application Manager who will be based in our Head Office at Goregaon (East) in Mumbai.
JOB PURPOSE :
We are seeking an experienced Application Manager to lead the operation, management, and optimization of all organizational applications. The successful candidate will have a background in application management and is comfortable in handling both day-to-day management duties as well as strategic planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Manage all applications across the organization, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and its users.
2. Oversee application configuration and implementation, ensuring best practices are followed for both in-house and vendor-sourced applications.
3. Coordinate with vendors for application implementation, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure projects meet deadlines and align with business needs.
4. Perform regular audits of application performance, security, and usability, implementing changes as necessary.
5. Troubleshoot application issues, working closely with IT support staff and vendor support as needed.
6. Evaluate new applications and updates to existing applications, recommending changes that could benefit the organization.
7. Coordinate training for users,
ensuring that they understand how to use each application effectively.
8. Maintain documentation for all applications, including user guides, SOP, Agreements, implementation plans, and vendor contracts.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to provide recommendations for application improvement and strategic direction.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION :
1. Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in application management or a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of application configuration and implementation.
4. Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Strong vendor management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work well in a team and lead projects.
9. Experience in Data Analytics - PowerBI, Tableau
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Certifications in project management or specific applications are a plus.
2. Understanding of ITIL processes and methodology.
