About The Job:
- We are looking for an experienced Apache Camel Specialist with strong expertise in enterprise integration patterns and modern integration architectures.
- The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust integration solutions using Apache Camel.
Experience in migration from TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) to Apache Camel is highly desirable
Essential Job Functions:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Apache Camel
- Implement Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) for message routing, transformation, and orchestration
- Develop and maintain Camel routes using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead and execute TIBCO BW to Apache Camel migration initiatives
- Integrate systems using REST, SOAP, JMS, Kafka, FTP/SFTP
- Ensure scalability, performance, fault tolerance, and security
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and documentation
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- 7–9 years of IT experience with 4+ years hands-on Apache Camel
- Strong knowledge of Apache Camel components and EIP
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot
- Experience with REST/SOAP services, XML, JSON
- Messaging systems: ActiveMQ, Client MQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka
- Git, Maven/Gradle, Linux/Unix
Good-to-Have Skills
- TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) to Apache Camel migration experience
- Apache Karaf, OSGi,
Camel K, Quarkus
- API Management tools (Apigee, Kong, WSO2)
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
