Role Description The AP Statistics Tutor will provide remote, contract-based instruction to high school students preparing for the AP Statistics exam. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering online lessons, explaining key statistical concepts, guiding students through problem-solving, and offering targeted exam preparation support. The tutor will monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.

Additional tasks may include creating practice materials, conducting doubt-clearing sessions,



and coordinating with the academic team to maintain consistent teaching standards and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust subject-matter expertise in Statistics and Mathematics, with a solid understanding of the AP Statistics curriculum.
- Candidates should possess effective Online Tutoring skills, including comfort with virtual classroom platforms and digital teaching tools.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills and strong Interpersonal Skills to engage students, explain complex ideas, and build academic confidence.
- Relevant experience teaching AP Statistics or equivalent advanced statistics courses is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience working with international high school students and familiarity with standardized test preparation are advantages.
- Ability to work independently, manage schedules across time zones, and maintain professional and inclusive learning environments is expected.
