Role Description This is a full-time, in office Anesthesiologist role based at Prakash Hospital in Gautam Buddha Nagar. The Anesthesiologist will assess patients pre-operatively, plan appropriate anesthesia techniques, and provide safe anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and procedural cases. Daily responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthesia evaluations, administering general, regional, and local anesthesia, monitoring patients intraoperatively, and managing post-anesthesia recovery and pain control.

The role involves close collaboration with surgeons, critical care teams, nursing staff, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes and manage perioperative risks. The Anesthesiologist will also participate in emergency response, contribute to clinical protocols,



and support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Anesthesiology, including pre-operative assessment, intraoperative management, and post-operative care.
- Solid grounding in Medicine with the ability to manage co-morbidities, acute clinical issues, and overall patient stabilization.
- Experience collaborating with Critical Care Nursing teams in the ICU and recovery areas for post-operative and high-dependency patient management.
- Ability to work closely with Surgery teams across multiple specialties, supporting elective and emergency procedures.
- Proficiency in Pain Management, including perioperative pain control and management of acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical registration and appropriate license to practice Anesthesiology as per local regulatory requirements.
- Robust clinical judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to patient safety and infection control standards.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and readiness to participate in on-call duties.
- Prior experience in a hospital setting with exposure to emergency and critical care cases is desirable.
