Job Role: Android HMI Development
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android HMI Developer to join our team at SASKEN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android development, HMI design, and proficiency in Java and Kotlin. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications on Android platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain Android HMI applications.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Technical Expertise:
- Utilize your expertise in Java and Kotlin to develop and enhance Android applications.
- Implement robust and efficient code while maintaining code quality and organization.
- Problem Solving:
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement attractive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate various features seamlessly.
- Documentation:
- Maintain thorough documentation of development processes, code, and design changes.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for future reference and ease of maintenance.
Mandatory Skills:
- Android Development:
- Strong experience in developing Android applications.
- Proficient in using Android SDK and Android Studio.
- Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- HMI (Human-Machine Interface):
- Experience in designing and developing HMI applications.
- Understanding of HMI concepts, usability, and user experience.
- Programming Languages:
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and effective code.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Android development with a focus on HMI.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality Android applications.
- Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Immediate availability or ability to join by August.
