Role Description The Android Developer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kamrej. In this role, the Android Developer will design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications, collaborating closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver intuitive and scalable mobile experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, integrating APIs and third-party services, optimizing application performance, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and participating in code reviews.

Developer will also contribute to feature planning, ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards, and stay current with the latest Android frameworks, tools, and industry trends.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Android app development using Java and/or Kotlin, including Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
- Experience with UI/UX implementation on Android, including responsive layouts, Material Design guidelines, and intuitive user flows.
- Ability to work with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries, as well as experience integrating backend services into mobile applications.
- Skills in debugging, performance optimization, and testing, including familiarity with unit testing and instrumentation testing frameworks.
- Understanding of mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVP, and experience with version control systems like Git.
- Good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to collaborate effectively in an on-site, cross-functional team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Exposure to ASO concepts, basic knowledge of PHP or web services, and experience publishing apps to Google Play Store are advantageous.
