osition: ANM Staff Nurse (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife)

Roles & Responsibilities

- Basic Nursing & Patient Care: Provide fundamental nursing care, including measuring and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, pulse oximetry), assisting patients with hygiene, and monitoring general health status.
- Maternal & Child Healthcare: Assist in prenatal and postnatal care, conduct routine check-ups for pregnant women, monitor fetal growth, and provide guidance on maternal nutrition and newborn care.
- Immunization Services: Administer routine vaccines to infants, children, and pregnant mothers following standard immunization schedules and maintaining the cold chain.
- Medication & Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed oral medications, topicals, and basic dressings/wound care under the supervision of a Staff Nurse, Medical Officer, or Physician.




- First Aid & Emergency Support: Provide basic first aid, triage, and immediate supportive care during minor medical emergencies or trauma prior to senior medical intervention.
- Health Education & Counseling: Counsel patients and local community members on personal hygiene, sanitation, family planning methods, nutrition, and infectious disease prevention.
- Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient registries, immunization records, maternal health registers, and daily OPD/IPD logs.
- Infection Control & Equipment Care: Ensure proper sterilization of medical instruments, maintain cleanliness in procedure rooms, and adhere to healthcare waste management protocols.
