. Roles and Responsibilities The Ambulance Supervisor/ASM is responsible for overseeing the ambulance team, ensuring effective communication, and managing the following: ●Hiring, Roaster Management, Supervision and coordination of ambulance drivers and paramedics and if required with hospital partners 24*7 if needed. ●Ensuring proper maintenance and readiness of all assigned vehicles. ●Managing ambulance schedules and response times on the software. ●Adhering all legal, regulatory, and operational standards downloaded by the respective hospitals. ●Ensuring safety protocols are followed for both patients and staff. ●Providing leadership during emergency situations. ●Reviewing and documenting incidents, reports, PCR forms and operational data properly on real time basis. ●Overall growth of the assigned ZONE on monthly and year on year basis. ●Attrition of the staff under you should be minimal. ●Regular Training & skill development should be focused. ●Audit Scores should be maintained. ●Cost Control related to maintenance, fueling, vendor should be as per the company protocols. ●Business Development includes current renewals and new agreements. ●Rotational Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 2.

Operational

Protocols 2.1 Booking and Conversion:​ 2.1.1-Patient calls should have high conversion rate. 2.1.2-All inquiries should be made in real time and all protocols related to dispatching have to be followed on the software. 2.1.3-Daily data of discharges, mortuary as well as lama have to be provided to the HO through mail. Also, daily hospital rounds data has to be shared via mail. 2.1.4-In order to boost sales regular coordination with call center and reporting manager has to be done. 2.2 Ambulance Readiness ●Conduct pre-shift checks of all ambulances, including the following: oVehicle exterior and interior condition like fueling, oiling of machinery, siren, fire extinguisher etc. oEquipment functionality (e.g., stretcher, oxygen cylinder’s, defibrillators, first aid kits, responder bags filled with proper expiry of medicines, ventilators working etc). oStock levels of medical supplies like responder bag and oxygen cylinder etc. oVehicle cleanliness and sanitization of the ambulance related to biodegradable cleaning on timely basis. oFuel levels maintenance with proper documentation.



●Ensure the ambulance is stocked with all required supplies for emergency responses. Whether it is ALS, BLS or PTA all the markers should be maintained as per standards. ●Proper Fleet utilization rate is imperative. 2.3 Shift Scheduling and Dispatching ●Review daily schedules/ roasters for ambulance teams. ●Assign ambulances to available drivers and paramedics based on patient needs, geography, and team availability in the software and also guide the team accordingly. ●Communicate with dispatch to ensure ambulances are deployed according to priority and urgency and also the response time should be quick for immediate help so that no escalations coming from hospital sites. 2.4 Staff Management and Training ●Oversee the performance of ambulance drivers and paramedics on regularly basis as if any feedback is coming or training is required it should be highlighted promptly. ●Ensure ongoing training is provided on emergency response procedures, vehicle operation, and safety protocols on regular basis. ●Also, monitor driver compliance with traffic laws, safe driving standards, drinking issues, not maintaining proper decorum, not groomed properly etc. ●Implement App usage training and execution for pilots and paramedics 2.5 Emergency Response ●In case of major incidents, provide direct oversight and decision-making to ensure effective resource allocation so that the help can be provided with any gaps or wasting time. ●Ensure all team members are aware of their roles during their duties. ●Monitor proper GPS system so that response time and safety measures are under control. 3. Safety and Compliance 3.1 Vehicle Safety Protocols ●Ensure all drivers comply with road safety regulations, including speed limits, seat belt use, safe driving practices, pollution checks, driving license etc. ●Ensure ambulances are equipped with safety features such as emergency lights, sirens, communication systems and fire extinguisher. ●Conduct regular safety audits of all vehicles weekly and update HO.



3.2 Patient Care and Transport Protocols ●Ensure that all patients are transported with the highest level of care and safety. ●Ensure that paramedics follow proper triage and care protocols during patient treatment. ●Oversee the use of medical equipment and verify it is in good working order. ●No extra financial dealing or transfers happening. 3.3 Legal and Regulatory Compliance ●Stay updated on local, regional, and national regulations regarding ambulance operations, medical care, and safety standards. ●Ensure all ambulance drivers and paramedics maintain the necessary licenses and certifications. ●Document and report any incidents or accidents involving the ambulance fleet immediately for corrective action. 4.

Incident

Management ●Investigate and document any incidents or accidents involving ambulances or any staff which is under your team. ●Conduct a debriefing session with staff after any significant incident to discuss performance and identify areas for improvement. ●Implement corrective actions to address any issues and ensure a safer working environment. 5. Communication and Reporting ●Maintain regular communication with the Call Center and with the attendant of the patient for instant response. ●Document all relevant operational activities, including ambulance response times, incident reports, and any vehicle or equipment issues if seen. ●Submit daily and weekly reports to the relevant management or oversight bodies regarding vehicle readiness, personnel performance, and operational metrics. 6.

Equipment

Maintenance and Inventory ●Ensure all medical equipment is maintained according to manufacturer guidelines and operational needs. ●Schedule routine maintenance and repairs for ambulances, ensuring minimal disruption to service. ●Maintain a system for inventory management and replenishment of medical supplies. 7.

Performance

Review and Continuous Improvement ●Monitor the performance of all ambulance teams and provide feedback for improvement. ●Conduct regular audits of ambulance operations to identify areas of efficiency and safety improvements. ●Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the ambulance team, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality patient care. ●Month on Month revenue is monitored as guided by the Management.
