ROLE PURPOSE

- Own end-to-end automotive product development projects from RFQ/nomination through prototype, validation, PPAP, SOP and project closure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead multiple NPD projects and maintain project plans, WBS, Gantt charts, milestones and critical path.
- Coordinate Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Purchase, Tool Room, Testing, Production, Suppliers and Sales.
- Drive customer reviews, requirements, approvals, open points and escalations.
- Monitor prototype, tooling, testing, validation, PPAP and SOP readiness.
- Identify risks/issues, maintain action & risk registers and drive recovery plans.
- Manage engineering/customer changes and assess impact on cost, timing, tooling and validation.
- Track project budgets, tooling/development costs and supplier milestones.
- Prepare project dashboards and management reports.

Experience Requirements
- 5–10 Years in related field

Additional Requirements
- 5–10 years automotive experience
- 3+ years in NPD / Project Management preferred
- Strong knowledge of Automotive PDS and APQP
- PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, DVP&R;, MSA and SPC
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA FMEA and VDA 6.3
- Product development, prototype development, testing and validation
- Engineering Change Management and supplier APQP/development
- MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project/equivalent
- Strong ownership and execution mindset
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Robust customer communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Structured problem solving, risk management and escalation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
