Role Description This is a full-time Alteryx Developer role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of on-site and work-from-home.

The Alteryx

Developer will design, build, and optimize Alteryx workflows to support data preparation, transformation, and automation across business functions.

Responsibilities include collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, model data, and create reusable components and macros. The role involves troubleshooting and performance-tuning workflows, integrating Alteryx with BI tools and databases, and implementing best practices for data quality, governance, and documentation.



The developer will also assist in deploying solutions to production, support user training, and contribute to continuous improvement of analytics and automation capabilities.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Alteryx Designer (workflows, macros, apps), with experience in data preparation, transformation, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases, including query optimization, joins, and data modeling concepts.
- Ability to integrate Alteryx with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) and cloud data platforms is preferred.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and best practices in data quality, validation, and governance.
- Experience working in analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Comfort with version control, documentation standards, and deployment processes for analytics and automation workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a cooperative, inclusive working style.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; relevant certifications in Alteryx or analytics are a plus.
- Experience in AI/ML, cloud environments (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), or agentic AI solutions will be considered an advantage.
