Air Operations Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Air Operations Executive to manage and coordinate air freight shipments from booking to delivery. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of air cargo operations, documentation, customs procedures, and coordination with airlines, customers, and overseas agents to ensure timely and efficient shipment movement.

Key Responsibilities

Air Freight Operations

- Coordinate import and export air freight shipments.
- Arrange bookings with airlines and monitor cargo movement.
- Ensure timely pickup, clearance, and delivery of shipments.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates to customers and management.

Documentation

- Prepare and verify Air Way Bills (AWB), manifests, invoices, packing lists, and other shipping documents.
- Ensure accuracy of shipment details and compliance with airline and customs requirements.
- Maintain proper records of all shipment-related documents.

Customer & Vendor Coordination

- Communicate with customers regarding shipment schedules, transit times, and delivery status.
- Coordinate with airlines, customs brokers, transporters, warehouses, and overseas agents.
- Resolve operational issues and customer queries promptly.

Customs & Compliance

- Assist in customs clearance processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor shipment documentation to avoid delays or penalties.




- Stay updated on air cargo regulations and industry requirements.

Reporting & Monitoring

- Prepare daily operational reports and shipment status reports.
- Monitor shipment milestones and escalate delays or exceptions.
- Maintain operational data and records in company systems.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in air freight operations (freshers with relevant logistics knowledge may also apply).
- Knowledge of air import/export procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

Salary

₹10,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)
