Role Description The AI Security Researcher | Product Development role is a remote contract position focused on advancing Cybervie’s security products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting AI-driven security research, analyzing emerging threats, and exploring how AI can be used to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber attacks. The role involves collaborating with product teams to design and refine security features, performing technical assessments of application and infrastructure security, and contributing to proof-of-concept implementations.

The researcher will document findings, develop technical reports and recommendations,



and support the integration of research outcomes into Cybervie’s offerings such as SOC, SIEM, and cybersecurity services. This role also requires close coordination with engineering, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure research insights translate into practical, scalable product improvements.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Application Security, with experience assessing and improving security in AI-driven or software systems.
- Hands-on expertise in Malware Analysis and Reverse Engineering for binaries, scripts, or AI-enabled threats.
- Proven Security Research skills, including designing experiments, evaluating threat models, and publishing or documenting technical findings.
- Proficiency with common security tools and frameworks (e.g., SIEM platforms, static/dynamic analysis tools, penetration testing utilities).
- Experience or robust interest in AI/ML security (model robustness, adversarial attacks, data poisoning, secure model deployment) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid programming/scripting skills (such as Python, Go, C/C++, or similar) for tooling, automation, and proof-of-concept development.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple research tasks, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
