REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong proficiency in Figma with hands-on experience using components, variants, auto-layout, constraints, shared libraries, and design systems.
- Ability to create high-quality, clickable prototypes within short timelines.
- Solid understanding of component and pattern-based design, with an ability to create reusable and scalable design solutions.
- Experience designing complete pages and screens across web and mobile, including desktop-first and responsive designs.
- Ability to take a rough concept, requirement, or idea and translate it into a complete and coherent feature flow.
- Strong understanding of workflows and user journeys, including multi-step processes, different user states, edge cases, empty states, and error states.
- Experience creating interactive prototypes in Figma.
- Strong visual design skills, including typography, spacing, hierarchy, colour, alignment, and consistency.
- Good design sense with the ability to research, gather references,



identify effective design patterns, and adapt them appropriately.
- Open to feedback and able to iterate designs collaboratively and efficiently.
- Portfolio is required — Dribbble, Behance, Figma, personal website, or equivalent.

PREFERRED

- Experience with Framer, particularly for published websites, interactions, and motion.
- Basic understanding of UX research and usability principles.
- Ability to comfortably read and understand HTML/CSS.
- Experience using AI-powered design tools for faster ideation, exploration, and prototyping.
- Familiarity with modern product development tools and technologies such as Vercel, Supabase, or Claude.
- Basic understanding of Python, Java, APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, or full-stack development.
- Exposure to AI/ML, Healthcare IT, Clinical Research, or Life Sciences.
- Experience designing products involving complex data, workflows, dashboards, or research/clinical applications.
