About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Development Intern with strong programming fundamentals and working knowledge of AI and generative AI. You will help build web applications and integrate AI capabilities into practical product features under the guidance of our engineering team.

Key responsibilities

- Develop responsive interfaces using React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Build backend services and REST APIs using Python with FastAPI or Django, or Node.js; connect them to frontend screens and SQL databases.
- Build GenAI features such as AI assistants, document Q&A;, summarisation, and content generation using model APIs or locally hosted open-source models.
- Develop basic retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows using document processing, embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval.
- Support prompt evaluation, structured outputs, and tool or function calling; assess response quality and handle errors.
- Debug issues, write basic tests, document code, and participate in code reviews. Follow good practices for authentication, sensitive data, and API credentials.

Required skills

- Positive understanding of JavaScript, Python, and programming fundamentals; hands-on familiarity with React and at least one backend framework.
- Working knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, HTTP, and Git.
- Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, context windows,



and structured responses; understanding of embeddings, semantic search, and RAG fundamentals.
- Ability to integrate an LLM into an application, handle model responses, and explain and debug code, including AI-generated code.
- Awareness of hallucinations, prompt injection, and privacy when handling application data.
- At least one academic or personal full stack project demonstrating your individual contribution.

Good to have

- Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, Ollama, or similar tools.
- A working GenAI application; familiarity with Docker, cloud deployment, or automated testing.

Eligibility: Students or recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, AI, or a related discipline. Candidates from other disciplines with strong practical projects are also welcome.

This internship offers a potential pathway to a full-time role. Interns who demonstrate strong technical skills, ownership, learning agility, and consistent contributions may be offered a full-time position upon successful completion, subject to performance and business requirements.
