Role Overview

I’m looking for an Agronomist for my indoor vertical farm. This role combines farm operations, process optimisation, and marketing support through video content creation. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys both technical farming work and creative marketing communications. This role offers exposure to:

- Advanced indoor & precision farming systems

Key Job Roles and Responsibilities Farm Operations & Management

- Oversee daily farm activities - seeding, transplanting, harvesting, and post-harvest handling
- Monitor crop health, growth cycles, and yield performance
- Manage environmental parameters (lighting, irrigation, nutrients, VPD, etc.)
- Ensure consistent quality and production targets
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and SOP compliance
- Supervise and coordinate farm staff/workers
- Track inventory (seeds, nutrients, consumables)

Process Optimisation

- Identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest improvements
- Work on yield enhancement, cost reduction, and waste minimisation
- Assist in trial runs, new crop experiments, and system improvements
- Analyse production data and performance metrics
- Collaborate with technical/IoT teams where required

Marketing & Video Content Creation

- Shoot videos showcasing farm operations, crop growth, and processes




- Assist in creating engaging visual content for social media and marketing
- Communicate farming concepts clearly through video
- Assist in documenting farm innovations and success stories

Suitable Candidate Profile Suitable candidature - someone who is:

- Comfortable working in a controlled indoor farm environment
- Interested in modern agriculture / Hydroponics / vertical farming
- Organized, Detail-oriented, Proactive and Solution-driven

Preferred Qualifications

- Any Degree in Agriculture or relevant studies.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of plant growth and crop care
- Ability to manage daily operations independently
- Good observation & problem-solving skills
- Communication skills (for team coordination & videos)

Performance Expectations (KPIs) Success in this role will be measured by:

- Crop quality & consistency
- Yield and production efficiency
- Reduction in operational errors/wastage
- Process improvement suggestions and implementations
- Quality of video/marketing content

Probation period – 3 months: Permanent role confirmation will be discussed post 3 months based on work performance.
