Job Summary

Harvtech Private Limited is looking for an enthusiastic Agriculture Intern to support our agricultural product development and market activities for electric weeders. The intern will work remotely and contribute through agricultural research, understanding farming practices, identifying weed-management requirements, and gathering farmer insights relevant to electric weeder applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Research different crops, farming practices, and weed-management methods followed in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
- Study common weeding challenges faced by farmers across different crops.
- Identify suitable agricultural applications and use cases for electric weeders.
- Research crop spacing, soil conditions, weed types, and farming practices relevant to mechanical weeding.
- Collect information about farmers' current weeding methods, including manual and conventional methods.
- Conduct online/phone-based interactions and surveys to understand farmer requirements and product expectations.
- Gather feedback regarding electric weeder features, usability, performance, and agricultural applications.
- Support the team in identifying potential crops and farming segments where electric weeders can be useful.
- Research competing agricultural weeding equipment and market trends.
- Maintain agriculture-related data, survey responses, and farmer feedback in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Prepare basic reports and presentations based on agricultural research and findings.




- Coordinate with the product and internal teams to share agriculture-related insights.
- Support other agriculture and product research activities as required.

Eligibility

- Pursuing or recently completed B.Sc. Agriculture, Diploma in Agriculture, B.Tech Agricultural Engineering, or a related course.
- Freshers and students are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of agriculture, crops, and farming practices.
- Interest in agricultural machinery and agri-tech products.
- Good communication and research skills.
- Comfortable working remotely and coordinating through online communication.

Skills Required

- Valuable communication skills in Telugu and English.
- Basic knowledge of crops and agricultural practices.
- Research and data collection skills.
- Basic MS Excel / Google Sheets knowledge.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to understand farmer needs and convert them into useful insights.
- Willingness to learn about agricultural machinery and electric weeders.
