: AGM - Liaisoning, PR & CSR

Role Purpose:

To lead and manage all liaisoning, government relations, and public relations activities for the thermal power plant project, ensuring smooth coordination with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and local stakeholders. The role will also oversee CSR initiatives to maintain solid community relations and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Liaisoning & Government Relations

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with:
- Central and State Government authorities
- Local administration (District Collector, SDM, Tehsildar, Police, etc.)
- Electricity Boards, Pollution Control Boards, Forest & Environment Departments
- Other statutory and regulatory bodies
- Facilitate all statutory approvals, permits, clearances, and renewals required for project execution and operations
- Represent the organization in government meetings, hearings, and inspections
- Track and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Resolve critical issues related to land acquisition, utilities, law & order, and local administration
- Monitor policy changes and provide strategic inputs to management

2. Public Relations & Stakeholder Management

- Build and maintain positive relationships with:

- Local communities

- Village Panchayats

- Political representatives

- Media and local influencers
- Act as the key interface between the company and external stakeholders
- Manage crisis situations and protect company reputation
- Drive transparency and communication around project activities

3. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)

- Plan, implement,



and monitor CSR initiatives aligned with:

- Companies Act CSR requirements

- Local community needs
- Execute programs in areas such as:

- Education

- Healthcare

- Livelihood development

- Infrastructure support
- Collaborate with NGOs and local agencies
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and impact assessment of CSR activities
- Maintain strong community goodwill to support project sustainability

Candidate Profile:

Experience:

- Minimum 18-25 years of experience in Liaisoning / Government Relations / PR
- Strong exposure to Power, Infrastructure, Mining, or Heavy Industry sectors with Green Field Projects preferred
- Have exposure of R&R; and Public Hearing
- Proven track record of handling state government and district administration in Madhya Pradesh or nearby regions

Education:

- Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline (MSW/ MBA / Public Administration / Law preferred)

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong network with government bodies and administrative authorities
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Crisis management and problem-solving ability
- High level of integrity and discretion
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and approvals in power/infrastructure sector
- Ability to manage community relations and sensitive local issues
