- Fixture Design: Establish welding production lines; deploy advanced robotic welding cells alongside custom heavy-duty welding positioners and fixtures to minimize internal stresses and heat distortion.
Fatigue Life Engineering: Implement manufacturing processes that guarantee structural durability, including exact beveling, controlled pre-heating, strict multi-pass weld sequences, and reliable post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) or stress-relieving methods.
Precision Machining &
- Quality Control: Oversee final line boring and machining setups to ensure geometric tolerances for pins and bushings are perfect..
Business &
- P&L; Leadership: Manage the plant's operational budgets, raw steel procurement strategy, manufacturing costs per ton, and overall factory efficiency metrics (OEE).

Recruit and develop a highly-skilled team of manufacturing engineers, quality supervisors, and certified welders; establish a strict, zero-harm industrial safety environment.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology.
Heavy Industrial Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in high-tonnage structural steel fabrication; direct experience creating excavator attachments or heavy chassis structures is mandatory.
Advanced Fabrication Knowledge: Deep understanding of high-strength steel grades (e.g., Hardox, Weldox, high-tensile structural plates), weld metallurgy, AWS/ISO welding standards, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;).
Automation Exposure: Proven experience implementing factory automation, specifically robotic welding automation and automated material handling for multi-ton parts.
Leadership Track Record: Experience managing a manufacturing plant or a major production unit independently, with clear experience handling budgets and operational targets.
