Role Description The Agency Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar. This role is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of insurance advisors to achieve business targets for health insurance products. Day-to-day activities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring advisor performance, conducting regular reviews, and ensuring adherence to company processes and regulatory guidelines.

Manager will support advisors with field visits, joint calls, and customer meetings to drive new business and maintain strong client relationships. The role also involves reporting on sales metrics, coordinating with internal teams, and promoting ABHICL’s wellness-focused offerings in the local market.

Qualifications

- Solid sales and business development skills, including experience in achieving targets and growing agency or retail channels.
- People management and leadership abilities to recruit, train, mentor, and retain a team of advisors.
- Customer relationship and communication skills to build trust, explain health insurance solutions clearly, and handle queries effectively.
- Basic analytical and planning skills to track performance, interpret data, and prepare action plans for the team.
- Understanding of insurance or financial services; prior experience in health or life insurance distribution is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; postgraduate qualifications in business or management are beneficial.
- Comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and mobile applications for sales, reporting, and customer servicing.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar, with readiness for local travel for advisor support and client meetings.
