Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) Architect / Lead AEM Architect with 12+ years of experience in enterprise digital experience platforms and strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Manager.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end technical architecture, solution design, modernization, governance, and technical leadership , with a strong focus on AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS), AEM Sites, AEM Cloud Service, and Adobe Experience Cloud .

This is a client-facing architecture role requiring strong communication, stakeholder management, architectural decision-making, and the ability to guide multiple technical teams.

AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) Expertise

- Strong understanding of AEM Edge Delivery Services architecture and implementation .
- Hands-on experience with document-based authoring, blocks, sections, metadata, decoration, and frontend integration .
- Experience with Universal Editor and modern AEM authoring approaches .
- Experience migrating traditional AEM/CMS implementations to AEM EDS .
- Strong understanding of CDN, edge delivery, caching, performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals .
- Experience integrating EDS with APIs, analytics, personalization, and third-party systems.
- Ability to evaluate and explain architectural differences between EDS and traditional AEM Sites/AEM Cloud Service .

AEM Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with AEM Sites and AEM Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) .
- Strong knowledge of:

- Understanding of automated testing, code quality, security, and enterprise release management.

- 12+ years of overall IT experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager .
- Solid architecture and solution design experience.
- Strong experience in AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) .
- Strong experience with AEM Sites and AEM Cloud Service .
- Strong knowledge of Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR/Oak, HTL, and AEM architecture.
- Strong understanding of modern web architecture and frontend technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, Maven, cloud deployment, CDN, caching, and performance.
- Experience designing REST/API-based integrations.
- Strong Agile/SDLC understanding.
- Excellent client communication and technical leadership skills.
