Role Description The Admissions Specialist – Australian Healthcare EdTech (Walkin) is a full time role responsible for guiding prospective healthcare students and professionals through the admissions and enrollment process. Day-to-day tasks include responding to inquiries via email, phone, and messaging platforms, explaining program offerings and pathways for international healthcare practice, and conducting consultations to understand applicants’ backgrounds and goals.

Specialist will manage application documentation, track leads in the CRM, follow up with interested candidates, and support them from initial contact through successful enrollment.



The role also involves collaborating with academic and counseling teams, participating in virtual information sessions or walk-in events, and providing clear, accurate information about exams, timelines, and eligibility. The Specialist is expected to meet recruitment and conversion targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service and ethical, student-centric guidance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to explain complex information in an accessible way.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, responsiveness, and building trust with diverse healthcare professionals and students.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, such as lead nurturing, consultative selling, and meeting enrollment or conversion targets in an ethical manner.
- Candidates should possess Student Recruiting skills, including outreach, lead management, and experience guiding learners through admissions or enrollment processes.
- Candidates should possess Education-related understanding, ideally with exposure to healthcare education, international licensing exams, or EdTech platforms.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, education, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience in admissions, counseling, or recruitment.
- Additional beneficial skills include proficiency with CRM tools, strong organizational and time-management abilities, comfort working in a remote environment, and familiarity with Australian or international healthcare systems.
