Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Admissions Manager to manage the end-to-end admissions cycle, from enquiry generation and lead management through application, counselling, selection, enrolment, and onboarding.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving admissions outcomes while ensuring a smooth, skilled, and student-centric experience throughout the journey. The role will involve managing the admissions team, monitoring the admissions funnel, improving conversion rates, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring that admission processes and targets are consistently achieved.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Admissions Management
- Own and manage the complete admissions lifecycle from lead/enquiry to final enrolment and onboarding.
- Develop and execute admission strategies to achieve annual, quarterly, and monthly enrolment targets.
- Manage the admissions funnel and ensure timely movement of prospects through each stage.
- Establish and maintain clear admission processes, SOPs, timelines, and service standards.
- Monitor application, offer, conversion, fee payment, and enrolment status.
Lead & Conversion Management
- Oversee incoming enquiries and ensure timely follow-up and effective lead nurturing.
- Track leads through CRM and maintain accurate and updated admission records.
- Analyse funnel performance and identify drop-off points and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop counselling and follow-up strategies to improve enquiry-to-application and application-to-enrolment conversions.
- Ensure prospective students and parents receive accurate and timely information.
Student & Parent Counselling
- Lead the counselling process for prospective students and parents.
- Understand student requirements and provide appropriate information regarding programmes, eligibility, fees, scholarships, timelines, and career pathways.
- Handle complex queries, objections, and escalations professionally.
- Ensure a high-quality and consistent applicant experience throughout the admission journey.
Team Management
- Manage, mentor, and motivate the admissions/counselling team.
- Set individual and team targets and monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
- Conduct regular reviews, coaching sessions, and performance discussions.
- Identify training requirements and improve the team's counselling, communication, and conversion capabilities.
- Allocate leads and responsibilities effectively across the team.
Application & Documentation Management
- Ensure applications are processed accurately and within defined timelines.
- Coordinate verification of student documents and eligibility requirements.
- Monitor pending applications, missing documents, offers, fee payments, and confirmations.
- Ensure compliance with institutional admission policies and applicable processes.
- Maintain accurate admission records and reports.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate closely with Marketing, Finance, Academic, Student Services, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless admissions process.
- Work with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality, campaign performance, and prospective student behaviour.
- Coordinate with Finance regarding fee structures, payment status, refunds, and outstanding payments.
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed students to relevant academic and student-support teams.
Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain and present regular reports on admissions performance and pipeline status.
- Track key metrics including:
- Enquiries and leads
- Lead-to-application conversion
- Application-to-offer conversion
- Offer-to-enrolment conversion
- Fee payment and enrolment status
- Source-wise performance
- Counsellor-wise performance
- Admissions target vs. achievement
- Use data and insights to identify trends and recommend improvements to the admissions process.
Process Improvement
- Continuously review and improve the admissions journey to enhance efficiency and applicant experience.
- Implement CRM and workflow improvements to strengthen lead tracking and follow-up.
- Develop standardised scripts, communication templates, FAQs, and counselling guidelines.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve conversion and turnaround time.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Education, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in admissions, student recruitment, education sales, counselling, or a related function.
- Prior experience managing an admissions/counselling team is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end admissions and enrolment process.
- Strong communication, counselling, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to analyse funnel performance and conversion metrics.
- Experience working with CRM systems and admission management platforms.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented environment while maintaining a student-centric approach.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
