About the RoleWe are looking for a Consultant – Overseas Education / Student Coach who can guide students throughout their study-abroad journey.
You will be responsible for understanding students' academic and career goals, helping them identify suitable courses and universities, managing their admission journey, and maintaining robust relationships with students until enrolment.
? Key Responsibilities• Take complete ownership of assigned students throughout their admission journey.
- Understand students' academic background, career goals and study-abroad aspirations.
- Counsel students on suitable courses, universities and countries.
- Build strong relationships with students through regular communication and follow-ups.
- Guide students through university admission processes, applications and intake cycles.
- Provide preliminary guidance regarding GRE/GMAT and IELTS/TOEFL requirements.
- Track student applications and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Growth, Student Counsellors, Key Account Managers, Loan Counsellors, Test Prep and Visa teams.
- Manage post-offer activities,
deposits and coordination with the Visa and International teams.
- Use effective counselling and sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
? What We're Looking For✅ 2–5 years of experience
✅ Prior EdTech experience preferred
✅ Experience in Overseas Education / Study Abroad / Admissions / Student Counselling is highly relevant
✅ Excellent English communication skills – verbal and written
✅ Strong sales and negotiation skills
✅ Strong research and problem-solving abilities
✅ Excellent counselling and persuasion skills
✅ Solid follow-up and relationship-management abilities
✅ Ability to manage multiple students/projects simultaneously
✅ Comfortable working with targets and deadlines
✅ Strong student-first mindset and ownership
? EducationGraduate / MBA in Business, Management, Psychology or related fields preferred.
