Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon. The counselor will guide prospective students and families through the admissions process, including responding to inquiries, providing information about programs, and conducting campus tours or information sessions. Daily responsibilities include counseling candidates on course options, assisting with application completion, maintaining accurate records in admissions systems, and following up with leads through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.

The role involves coordinating with academic departments, participating in outreach events, school visits, and education fairs, and supporting admissions campaigns to meet enrollment targets.



The counselor will also contribute to continuous improvement of admissions processes and ensure a welcoming, professional experience for all applicants.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for engaging with students, families, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide timely, accurate, and supportive guidance throughout the admissions process.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to effectively present IILM’s programs, convert inquiries to applications, and support enrollment goals in an ethical, student-centric manner.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, preferably in higher education admissions, counseling, or academic advising.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in Management, Education, or related fields is an advantage.
- Robust organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and comfort working with admissions databases or CRM tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain a professional, inclusive approach to all prospective students.
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with online communication platforms; fluency in English required, additional regional languages
