We are hiring Admission Counselor

Location - Kolkata , Camac Street

Experience - 1 year to 3 years of experience in admission/ counseling

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding suitable courses, colleges, universities, and career options.
- Understand students' academic background, interests, career goals, and admission requirements.
- Explain course details, eligibility criteria, fee structures, admission procedures, and timelines.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls and follow up with prospective students.
- Generate and manage leads through calls, WhatsApp, online inquiries, and other sources.
- Maintain regular follow-up with students and parents to convert leads into admissions.
- Assist students in completing application forms and collecting required documents.
- Coordinate with colleges/universities and internal teams regarding the admission process.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, applications, and admissions in CRM/Excel.
- Achieve assigned monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Handle student queries and resolve admission-related concerns professionally.
- Keep updated with courses,



colleges, admission policies, eligibility criteria, and fee structures.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.
- Provide regular updates to the reporting manager regarding lead status and admission performance.

Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in admission counseling, academic counseling, education sales, or tele-counseling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Good knowledge of admission processes and education programs.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Good follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
- Comfortable handling calls and communicating with students and parents.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel, CRM, WhatsApp, and email communication.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
