ADMISSION COUNSELOR

Role Overview The Admission Counselor is responsible for managing the end-to-end admission process, supporting student enrollment growth, ensuring compliance with school SOPs and strengthening the schools brand through coordinated promotional activities. The role involves extensive parent interaction, data management, marketing coordination and inter-departmental liaison.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (KRAs)

1. Admission Management & Counseling

- Handle all admission enquiries, walk-ins, calls, emails and digital leads
- Convert enquiries into confirmed admissions as per defined targets
- Organize and coordinate entrance tests / assessments in consultation with the Principal
- Collect, verify and maintain all mandatory admission documents

2. Database Management, MIS & Software Updates

- Prepare, update, and maintain admission databases and MIS reports
- Track enquiry-to-admission conversion ratios and admission trends

3. Website & Digital Content Management

- Ensure news, events, notices and announcements are updated at least once every 15 days
- Coordinate with HO / IT teams for website updates as required




- Support initiatives to increase parent registrations and app downloads

4. Press Relations & Media Coordination

- Prepare press notes and event coverage in consultation with school authorities
- Forward news articles for publication

5. Event Coordination & Branding Support

- Provide administrative and promotional support for Annual Day, Sports Day and other school events

6. Fee Follow-up & Strength Confirmation

- Student strength reconciliation
- Follow up on outstanding fees in coordination with Accounts and Principal

Qualifications

- Graduate / Postgraduate in Management, Education, Marketing or related field
- Diploma or certification in Counseling, Customer Relationship Management, or Marketing preferred

Experience

- 3 to 6 years of experience in school admissions, education administration or institutional marketing
- Prior experience in CBSE school admissions preferred
