Role & Responsibilities:

1. Student Recruitment & Counseling:

- Provide comprehensive information on admission processes, program offerings, eligibility criteria, and university policies to prospective students and their families.

- Guide students through the entire admissions process, from initial inquiries to final enrollment, ensuring a smooth and transparent experience.

- Conduct personalized counseling sessions to understand the academic interests and career goals of prospective students, and recommend suitable programs at Mody University.

- Respond to student and parent queries via email, phone, and in-person consultations with a focus on addressing their needs and concerns.

1. Admission Application Processing:

- Assist students with online application submissions, ensuring that they meet all eligibility requirements and deadlines.

- Review student applications and ensure all supporting documents are complete and accurately submitted.

- Provide guidance on required documents, eligibility criteria, and any additional requirements for specific courses.

1. Promotion and Outreach:

- Represent Mody University at education fairs, school visits, webinars, and other outreach programs, promoting the universitys academic offerings and campus facilities.

- Support the marketing team in preparing promotional materials, brochures, and digital content for recruitment purposes.

- Participate in organizing admission seminars and workshops to raise awareness and drive interest in university programs.

1. Lead Management & Conversion:

- Actively follow up with prospective students to ensure conversion of inquiries into completed applications.

- Track and manage leads using CRM tools to monitor student engagement, progress through the application process, and facilitate timely follow-ups.

- Provide detailed updates to management on lead status, conversion rates, and overall performance against admission targets.

1. Coordination with Departments:

- Collaborate with the Registrars Office, Academic Departments,



and Student Affairs to ensure smooth processing of student admissions and integration into campus life.

- Assist students with understanding the fee structure, scholarships, and financial aid options by working closely with the Finance Department.

- Work with the International Students Office (if applicable) to assist international applicants with visa procedures and other specific admission requirements.

1. Student Relationship Management:

- Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with prospective students, their families, and other stakeholders.

- Provide post-admission support, including guidance on orientation programs, campus facilities, and other pre-arrival information.

1. Reporting and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of all admissions-related activities, including student inquiries, applications, and follow-ups.

- Prepare admission-related reports and assist in analyzing trends, outcomes, and performance metrics to improve future recruitment strategies.

1. Problem Resolution:

- Resolve issues related to the admission process, eligibility doubts, or any other concerns raised by students and their families.

- Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure prospective students have a positive experience throughout the admissions cycle.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

1. Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in any discipline (preferably in Education, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields).

- A Masters degree in Education, Counseling, Business Administration, or similar fields would be an advantage.

1. Experience:

- 0-5 years of experience in admissions counseling, student services,



or similar roles within an academic or educational setting.

- Experience in sales or customer service is a plus, especially if the role requires engaging prospective students and converting leads into enrollments.

- Previous exposure to higher education admissions processes, particularly in India, is preferred.

1. Skills and Competencies:

- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to clearly explain complex information to prospective students and their families.

- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with students and their parents.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Experience using CRM software or admission management tools (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus.

- Empathetic and patient nature, with the ability to understand student needs and provide appropriate guidance.

- A sales-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage inquiries, generate interest, and convert leads into actual enrollments.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented team.

- Proactive problem solver, with a focus on delivering solutions to prospective students.

1. Additional Skills:

- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is a plus.

- Willingness to travel for student outreach programs, education fairs, and recruitment events (if required).

- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

1. Desirable Qualities:

- Previous experience in handling international student admissions or working with international applicants.

- Familiarity with online application portals or digital marketing strategies to attract prospective students.

- A passion for higher education and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of Mody University.
