We are looking for a dedicated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our team In Mavoor location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students in selecting suitable courses, understanding their career options, and planning their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and understand their academic and career goals.
- Provide accurate information about courses, programs, fees, and career opportunities.
- Assist students in choosing suitable courses based on their interests and career objectives.
- Follow up with prospective and existing students and maintain regular communication.
- Support students throughout the admission and enrolment process.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Conduct counselling sessions and respond to student queries professionally.
- Maintain student records and update counselling/admission details.
- Coordinate with the academic and admissions teams to ensure a smooth student experience.
- Contribute to student engagement, admissions, and overall satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; relevant experience in counselling, education, or admissions is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong student-handling and counselling skills.
- Ability to understand student needs and provide suitable guidance.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
- Positive attitude, patience, and a student-friendly approach.
