Role Description The Admission Counsellor is a full-time, in office role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The person in this role will guide prospective students and families through course, college, and university selection, explaining admission criteria, program options, and application timelines.

Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, responding to inquiries, maintaining accurate student records, and supporting applicants with documentation and admission procedures.

The Admission

Counsellor will collaborate with internal teams to coordinate information about institutions, manage follow-ups,



and help convert inquiries into successful admissions. The role also involves participating in events, seminars, and outreach activities to build awareness of Eduventure Consultancy’s services and strengthen relationships with students, parents, and partner institutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills to engage effectively with students and families.
- Candidates should possess customer service and client relationship skills to provide supportive, responsive, and professional counseling experiences.
- Candidates should possess sales and conversion skills to guide prospective students from inquiry to successful enrollment in suitable programs.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of education systems, academic programs, and admission processes in India and abroad.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field; proficiency in English and local languages; comfort with digital tools and CRM systems; strong organizational and time-management abilities; and a commitment to ethical, student-centric guidance.
