Position: Admin & Electrical Engineer – Hospital Facility Management

Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Admin & Electrical Engineer who can independently manage the day-to-day administration, electrical systems, facility operations, vendors, security, housekeeping, inventory, fire & safety compliance and overall building maintenance of a multi-speciality hospital.
Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical & Facility Management
- Manage and monitor complete hospital electrical systems and electrical infrastructure.
- Handle DG Set, UPS, batteries, panels, wiring, lighting, earthing and other electrical equipment.
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with electricians and external technical agencies/vendors.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records, checklists and service schedules.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical hospital areas.
2. Building & Infrastructure Management
- Overall monitoring of hospital building, premises and infrastructure.
- Coordinate civil, plumbing, HVAC/AC, lift, water supply, drainage and other facility-related maintenance.
- Identify maintenance requirements and arrange timely repairs.
- Maintain AMC/CMC records and preventive maintenance schedules.
3. Vendor Management
- Identify and coordinate with maintenance/service vendors.
- Obtain quotations and coordinate comparative statements as required.
- Monitor vendor performance, service quality and timelines.
- Maintain vendor records, AMC agreements, work orders and service reports.
- Coordinate with vendors for electrical, fire, HVAC, lift, housekeeping, security, pest control and other facility services.
4. Security Management
- Manage day-to-day security operations and security guards.
- Prepare/monitor security duty rosters and deployment.
- Ensure visitor, staff, vehicle and material movement protocols.
- Monitor CCTV, access control and other security systems.
- Conduct regular security rounds and report incidents to management.
5. Housekeeping Management
- Supervise complete housekeeping operations of the hospital.
- Ensure cleanliness of OPD, IPD, OT, emergency, diagnostic areas, offices, washrooms and common areas.
- Monitor housekeeping manpower, duty rosters and attendance.
- Ensure availability and proper use of cleaning materials and consumables.
- Coordinate with housekeeping vendor/supervisor where applicable.
6. Inventory & Stock Management
- Manage administrative, housekeeping, electrical, maintenance and general stores.
- Maintain stock registers and issue/receipt records.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Raise purchase requirements before stock-out situations.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling and accountability of materials.
7. Fire & Safety / Statutory Compliance
- Maintain knowledge of hospital building-related licences, permissions and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate for Fire NOC, fire safety equipment, fire extinguishers, hydrant system, alarms, emergency exits and related compliance.
- Ensure periodic inspection, testing and servicing of fire safety systems.
- Maintain fire safety records, checklists and certificates.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities/vendors for renewals and inspections.
- Ensure emergency exits and evacuation routes remain accessible.
8. Mock Drills & Emergency Preparedness
- Plan and coordinate periodic Fire Mock Drills / Emergency Mock Drills.
- Coordinate participation of security, housekeeping, nursing, admin and other departments.
- Maintain mock drill reports, observations and corrective action records.
- Ensure staff awareness regarding emergency evacuation and fire safety procedures.
9. Canteen & Support Services
- Coordinate day-to-day hospital canteen operations.
- Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, food quality and vendor/service standards.
- Coordinate canteen supplies,
manpower and basic inventory.
- Ensure compliance with hospital's hygiene and safety requirements.
10. General Administration
- Support overall hospital administration and facility operations.
- Coordinate with HR, Nursing, Medical, Pharmacy, Diagnostics and other departments for facility-related requirements.
- Maintain daily facility reports and maintenance records.
- Handle administrative complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regular rounds of the hospital premises and identify operational gaps.
- Prepare MIS/reports related to maintenance, security, housekeeping, inventory and facility operations.
Required Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with relevant Electrical/Facility Management experience may also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of hospital facility management and safety standards is preferred.
Required Experience
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in Electrical, Facility, Engineering or Administration Management.
- Experience in a hospital / healthcare facility / hotel / commercial building / large facility will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile The candidate should be capable of independently monitoring the complete hospital facility and building operations, coordinating multiple vendors and support departments, identifying technical/maintenance issues and ensuring timely resolution while maintaining safety, compliance and service standards. Key: Candidate must be willing to take ownership of overall facility operations and coordinate with management for smooth, safe and uninterrupted hospital functioning.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
