Role Description The Adjunct Faculty of Clinical Psychology will serve in a full time, on-site capacity at the Amity University campus in Patna.

Responsibilities include teaching clinical psychology courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, delivering lectures, facilitating seminars, and leading practical sessions and case discussions. The role involves designing and updating course curricula, preparing teaching materials, and aligning learning outcomes with institutional standards. The faculty member will mentor and advise students,



supervise clinical practica and research projects, and support student development in both academic and professional domains.

Additional duties may include engaging in departmental meetings, contributing to academic events, pursuing scholarly activities, and collaborating with colleagues to uphold Amity’s standards of excellence in teaching and research.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Psychology , preferably with specialization or advanced training in Clinical Psychology.
- Demonstrated experience in University Teaching and Teaching , including classroom instruction, mentoring, and assessment.
- Ability to contribute to Curriculum Development , including designing, revising, and implementing course syllabi and learning materials.
- Proven engagement in Research , with a record of publications, conference presentations, or clinical research projects in psychology or related fields.
- Relevant academic qualification such as an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology, with appropriate professional registration where applicable.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered approach and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary academic environment and support institutional initiatives in teaching, research, and community outreach.
- Prior experience in clinical settings, supervision of trainees, and familiarity with evidence-based psychological interventions is an advantage.
