Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead finance and accounts operations for a manufacturing plant. The role involves financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, inventory control, statutory compliance, audits, cash flow management, and ERP-based finance operations while partnering with plant leadership to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts team, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and plant payroll operations.

- Prepare monthly profitability statements, MIS reports, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reports for management.

- Supervise cost sheet preparation and variance analysis (Material, Labour, and Overhead) to support production cost optimization.

- Manage fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, and CapEx tracking for plant machinery and equipment.

- Monitor inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and identify slow-moving inventory to improve working capital.

- Manage vendor payment cycles and cash flow planning to ensure timely payments and healthy liquidity.

- Prepare budgets, forecasts,



and financial projections for plant operations.

- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure complete documentation and audit readiness.

- Ensure statutory compliance for GST, TDS, corporate tax, and other applicable regulations.

- Present financial reports and business insights regularly to senior management and support strategic decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile

- ICWA/CMA Final or CA Final with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance.

- CA Inter/CMA Inter candidates with 10 years of relevant manufacturing experience are also eligible.

- Strong experience in manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and plant finance.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Roadmap ERP, SAP, Baan, or similar ERP platforms.

- Solid analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and take ownership of finance operations.

- Proficiency in Tamil and English is required; Hindi will be an added advantage.
