Accounts Manager

We are looking for an Accounts Manager to oversee the complete financial, accounting and taxation functions of our manufacturing unit. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, costing, inventory accounting and statutory compliance (GST, TDS), and working closely with plant management to optimize costs and financial performance.

Qualification

CA / CMA (Inter or Final) or MBA (Finance) / M.Com.

Experience

5 to 10+ years of core accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.

Loction : Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali), Punjab

Reporting To : General Manager (Finance) / Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management Reporting

- Oversee day-to-day accounting, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, PL, Cash Flow).
- Conduct variance analysis comparing budgeted figures against actual financial performance.

Manufacturing Plant Costing

- Manage inventory accounting, stock reconciliation and valuation of raw materials, WIP (work-in-progress) and finished goods.
- Oversee plant and production cost analysis, job costing and bill of materials (BOM) verification.




- Implement and monitor internal financial controls across plant operations.

Statutory Compliance Taxation

- Ensure timely filing and compliance for GST, TDS/TCS, Income Tax, PF, ESI and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare data for internal, external, tax and statutory audits.
- Handle vendor/client tax reconciliations (e.g., GSTR-2B matching).

Cash Flow Banking Operations

- Manage day-to-day treasury functions, cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
- Liaise with banks for LC/BG (Letters of Credit / Bank Guarantees), working capital limits and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in ERP software (Tally Prime, SAP or custom manufacturing ERP systems).
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- In-depth knowledge of Indian GAAP, GST laws, Income Tax rules and factory cost accounting.
- Strong analytical capabilities, team leadership, attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.
