Role Description The Accounts Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. The role includes managing accounts payable and receivable, supervising ledger entries, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.

The Accounts

Manager will prepare financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow, and coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. This position also involves implementing process improvements, managing accounting software and systems, and providing financial insights to support business decision-making.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and basic financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with accounting standards, taxation principles, compliance requirements, and coordination with auditors or regulatory bodies.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, ERP systems, or similar tools), advanced MS Excel usage, and digital documentation practices.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, time management, and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, management, vendors, and external partners.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing or textiles, familiarity with inventory accounting and cost control, and prior work as an Accounts Manager or senior accounting professional are beneficial.
