Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Head to lead and manage the organization's finance and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of relevant experience with strong expertise in financial accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, audits, and internal controls.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial controls while supporting management in financial planning and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank transactions.
- Ensure accurate and timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Monitor accounting processes and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain proper books of accounts and supporting documentation.

1. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Review tax calculations, returns, payments, reconciliations, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities whenever required.
- Monitor changes in applicable tax laws and assess their impact on the organization.

1. Audit & Compliance

- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and other audits.
- Provide required schedules, documents, and explanations to auditors.




- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls.

1. Budgeting & Financial Planning

- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
- Prepare financial projections and cash-flow forecasts.
- Provide management with financial insights to support business decisions.

1. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

- Monitor daily cash flow and fund requirements.
- Manage working capital, receivables, payables, and banking activities.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and efficient management of vendor payments.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions as required.

1. Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and establish explicit processes and controls.
- Review team performance and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
- Promote accuracy, accountability, and process discipline within the department.

1. Process Improvement & Controls

- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial controls.
- Drive automation and effective use of ERP/accounting systems.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance qualification will be an advantage.




- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably with experience managing an accounting team.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting, taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis.

Preferred Profile The ideal candidate should be a hands-on finance professional and team leader capable of independently managing the complete accounting and finance function. Experience in handling senior management, auditors, tax consultants, banks, and statutory authorities will be preferred. Experience: 10–15 years
