Senior Finance Manager - CA Mandatory

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and commercially oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial operations at Xebo.ai.

The role will work closely with the CEO, leadership team, auditors, banks, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders to ensure strong financial governance and support informed business decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, audit, financial analysis, taxation, and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.

This role will also provide leadership to the finance function and contribute to strategic financial planning, budgeting, cash-flow management, process improvement, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting and financial planning process.
- Prepare financial forecasts, business plans, and scenario analyses.
- Analyze financial performance, revenue, costs, margins, and key business metrics.
- Provide actionable financial insights to the CEO and leadership team to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify financial risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

1. Financial Reporting & MIS

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Develop management reports, dashboards, and financial analysis for senior leadership.
- Prepare financial presentations and reports for the Board of Directors.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely closure of financial books.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts and highlight key variances.

1. Accounting & Audit

- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Manage the development, implementation, and improvement of accounting systems and processes.
- Ensure appropriate accounting controls and financial governance are maintained.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory, financial, and management audits.
- Review accounting records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

1. Tax & Regulatory Compliance

- Oversee preparation and timely filing of applicable tax returns and regulatory submissions.




- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
- Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory advisors as required.
- Monitor changes in tax and financial regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and controls for tax and regulatory compliance.

1. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

- Monitor the company's cash position and working capital.
- Prepare regular cash-flow forecasts and liquidity plans.
- Manage banking relationships and coordinate with financial institutions.
- Oversee payment schedules, collections, receivables, and payables.
- Identify opportunities to optimize working capital and improve cash utilization.
- Support negotiations and relationship management with banks, creditors, and other financial partners.

1. Payroll & Employee Finance Operations

- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Coordinate with HR and relevant stakeholders on payroll-related financial matters.
- Ensure appropriate statutory deductions, filings, and compliance related to payroll.
- Review payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

1. Cost Optimization & Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved financial efficiency.
- Review existing finance processes and implement automation and process improvements.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance.
- Develop and implement SOPs for key finance processes.
- Drive greater accuracy, efficiency, and transparency across the finance function.

1. Team Leadership

- Lead, manage, and mentor the finance team.
- Define responsibilities, performance expectations, and processes for the finance function.
- Review team performance and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

1. Strategic & Special Projects

- Work closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategic financial initiatives.
- Support fundraising, investor reporting, due diligence, and other corporate finance activities as required.




- Handle special projects and financial analysis assigned by the CEO or Board of Directors.
- Stay updated on developments in finance, accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements and share relevant knowledge with the team.

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of overall experience in finance and accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant auditing experience.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Solid experience in financial reporting, accounting, audit, taxation, and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience with payroll and financial operations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and applicable financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Strong leadership, ownership, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a SaaS, technology, startup, or Series A/B-funded organization.
- Experience with ERP/accounting platforms such as ACCPAC or Oracle.
- Exposure to multi-country finance operations will be an advantage.
- Experience working with Boards, investors, auditors, banks, and external financial advisors.
- Experience supporting fundraising, due diligence, or investor reporting will be an added advantage.

The candidate should demonstrate high ownership, integrity, attention to detail, solid analytical thinking, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented technology company.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
