McGain International Logistics is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team in Kochi. This role is suitable for candidates with positive accounting knowledge who can efficiently handle day-to-day accounting activities in a logistics environment.

Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and finance-related activities
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments
- Reconcile customer and supplier statements and bank transactions
- Assist with VAT/GST and other accounting-related compliance requirements
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records




- Coordinate with the operations and management teams regarding billing and payments
- Support month-end closing and other accounting activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (mandatory)
- Good knowledge of accounting principles (mandatory)
- Proficiency in English – written and spoken (mandatory)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in logistics/freight forwarding accounting is an advantage
