About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Associate to join our finance team. You will support day-to-day accounting operations, help maintain accurate financial records, and work with the team on daily cash reconciliation, payments and statutory compliance. Freshers with a strong accounting foundation are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting software (Tally or similar)
- Prepare and verify vouchers, invoices and supporting documents
- Assist with daily cash and collection reconciliation across departments
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor follow-ups and payment processing
- Assist with bank reconciliation and petty cash management
- Support GST, TDS and other statutory filings and data preparation
- Prepare basic MIS reports and daily, weekly and monthly summaries
- Maintain organised records and files for audits
- Coordinate with internal departments and auditors when required




- Flag discrepancies promptly to the Accounts Manager

Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent; CA Inter / CMA Inter / semi-qualified candidates are also welcome
- Freshers are eligible; internship experience in accounts is a plus

Skills Required
- Working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Tally or other accounting software
- Understanding of basic accounting principles, GST and TDS
- Solid numerical ability and attention to detail
- Good communication in English and Hindi; Konkani or Marathi is a plus
- Honesty, integrity and the ability to handle confidential financial information
