Role Description This is a full-time, in office Accounts Assistant role based in Mumbai, with an expected joining within 7 days.

The Accounts

Assistant will handle day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting monthly closing processes. The role involves managing petty cash, preparing basic financial reports, and assisting with credit control tasks such as tracking receivables and following up on outstanding payments.

This position requires attention to detail, adherence to timelines, and support for the finance team in routine compliance and reporting activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including basic bookkeeping and understanding of financial records.
- Candidates should possess Credit Control skills to monitor receivables and support timely collections.
- Candidates should possess Petty Cash management skills, including accurate handling, recording, and reconciliation of cash transactions.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to interact with internal teams, clients, and vendors regarding account-related matters.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple tasks, and maintain high accuracy under time constraints.
- Relevant coursework or a diploma/degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance is preferred.
- Prior experience in an accounts or finance support role in logistics or related industries will be an advantage.
