Role Description The Accounts Assistant role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai, with an expected joining time of 7 days. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including handling vouchers, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with billing and invoicing.

Responsibilities include monitoring receivables, supporting credit control processes, and managing petty cash transactions.

The Accounts

Assistant will assist in preparing basic financial reports, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company policies.



The role requires regular communication with the finance team to support smooth operational and audit readiness.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Accounting and Finance for managing ledgers, vouchers, and basic financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in Credit Control to monitor receivables and support payment follow-ups.
- Candidates should possess skills in handling Petty Cash, including maintaining records and reconciling daily transactions.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting software is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work with deadlines are essential.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in accounts or finance, preferably in logistics or related industries, will be an added advantage.
